Thank you to those patrons who have bought art work from me this July - it's simply wonderful to know you are making your new story with these works in your living spaces now. Sales means there are new paintings being made in the studio. The shifting gears happening here of no longer sharing time with a long term employment has meant a return to full time life in the studio and with the business. August will include bringing the art work I make, for sale in the online shop in August (www.yshstudio.com). Consider a comission if you need to freshen up the walls in your home or at work.
With a quick look around your digs, or even on your person, you may actually just notice a pattern or ten. My YveY Shop with Spoonflower is where I've been putting the love I have for printmaking through a digital process and produce print art works to wear or live with. A lovely chunk of my July was spent making, loading and testing designs, producing my work on Spoonflower's ethical wallpaper and fabric options, including their homeware products. I'll keep you posted here with how this goes.
The online offer of Supervision Arts Therapy continues, as does some lovey online education oportunites. This July I've been enjoying Pamela Lee from Singapore's 'Mental Health Imunity' Research and a host of goodies from the Conscious Life, International Trauma Conference.
Here's hoping your July has been a good one. I know it's been super chilly here, so cool in fact that face painting at country markets was on hold, but little moments still happened close to home (#yshstudio_fairysparkles). So, may you stay warm if you're in this Australian Winter, and for those in their Summer, it can't be long now before there is a change.
Before long I'll be back here to share with you the new works coming out of the Studio so see you in August.
Bye for now,
