Warm and changing…

March in the studio has had a focus of more sketching, photography, painting planning, painting dear little faces, arts therapy and patterns, lots of patterns.

With so much beautiful training available it's been a lovely time of immersion in a range of online education offers (further Expressive Therapies Continuum immersion alongside some NICAM training) enriching my arts therapy practice and supervision worlds.

I find balance to the meaningful work I engage in as a specialist palliative care & bereavement care, arts therapist, through my art practice. Beyond that is my studio art practice and surface pattern designing. This month my regular face painting on Malmsbury's Village Green was an absolute dream, as was the making daily patterns having taken up a 100 day challenge. It's been a month that has also led to booking my next agreed sitter for portrait work - truly exciting times - and on the vacation home front, we've gardened and hosted weekly, loving each chance to share our dear 'Leila at Malmsbury’ miner’s cottage with so many.

And today, as the sun sets, I'm cherishing sending out love, grateful for the lives of all, especially my dear family and close loved ones marvelling at all that this life offers, thinking of the many others who touch my life - thank you.

As the colours of today change from a crisp Summer finish at the close of this first month of Autumn, I'll look forwards to being with you and sharing another update.

Until then, take care.

Big wishes,
